How do I book an appointment at MediCare?

You can book in three ways: (1) Call our OPD booking line at 0300-MEDICARE during working hours; (2) Use the online appointment form on our Home page, which gives instant confirmation; (3) Walk in to any of our campuses. For specialist consultations, online booking is strongly recommended as specialist slots fill 5–7 days in advance. Emergency walk-ins are always accepted without appointment.

Does MediCare accept health insurance?

Yes, MediCare is a panel hospital for over 45 major insurance providers in Pakistan, including State Life, Jubilee Health, EFU Life, Adamjee Insurance, and all major corporate health schemes. We have a dedicated insurance desk at each campus to verify coverage, handle cashless claims, and assist with reimbursement paperwork. Bring your original insurance card and CNIC on the day of your visit.

Can I access my test results and medical records online?

Yes. MediCare patients receive login credentials for our Patient Portal (available at portal.medicare.pk) where they can view all lab results, radiology reports, discharge summaries, prescriptions, and upcoming appointment reminders. Lab results are typically available online within 4–6 hours of sample collection. For physical copies, request at the Medical Records department with a valid CNIC — processing takes 24 hours.

How does MediCare's telemedicine service work?

Our telemedicine platform allows video consultations with MediCare specialists from any location via smartphone or computer. Book a slot online, pay the consultation fee (PKR 800–2,500 depending on specialty), and join the secure video call at your scheduled time. Available for 25+ specialties. Prescriptions are digitally signed and can be sent directly to our pharmacy for home delivery. Not available for surgical consultations or patients requiring physical examination.

What should I bring for my first appointment?

Please bring: (1) Original CNIC or passport for registration; (2) Insurance card and employee ID if using insurance; (3) Any existing medical reports, previous test results, imaging, or discharge papers; (4) Current medication list or the actual medication packages; (5) Referral letter if coming from another doctor. Arrive 15 minutes early for new patient registration. You will be given a Patient Card which should be brought to all future visits.

Does MediCare provide financial assistance for patients who cannot afford treatment?

Yes. MediCare's Zakat & Charity Fund provides free or heavily subsidized treatment to verified underprivileged patients. Applications are reviewed by our Social Welfare Department within 48 hours. We also accept Sehat Sahulat Program cards, Ehsaas Health cards, and have arrangements with provincial health authorities. For urgent cases, treatment is never delayed pending financial verification. Visit our Social Welfare Desk at any campus for assistance.

How can I submit feedback or a complaint about my experience?

We take all feedback extremely seriously. Is parking available at all MediCare campuses?

All MediCare campuses have free patient and visitor parking. The Islamabad main campus has a 500-vehicle capacity multi-level car park with valet service available from 8AM–10PM. The Lahore campus has a 300-vehicle underground parking facility. Peshawar and Karachi campuses have surface parking with security staff. For patients with disabilities, dedicated accessible parking bays are available at all entrances. Ride-sharing drop-off zones are also designated at each campus.
